Crisp winter paint

I set off early today, through the ghostly fog enveloping Fitzroy, to paint some freehand characters on what I hoped would turn out to be a perfect winter day. I wasn’t disappointed.

While Brunswick began to wake, I quietly painted a deerhunter on a smooth brick wall, accompanied by the smells of toasting sourdough, butter, coffee + spices from the cafes nearby. The sun broke through the fog as lovely friends came to chat, + bring welcome coffee.

Elsewhere in the north, I painted another deerhunter on a lovely disused factory door, finishing just before the sun set on a glorious, crisp, clear winter day.

Awesome x
